Most modern roofs use trusses, which are spaced about 600mm apart. If your roof has this setup, then VELUX Fixed Skylights that are 550mm wide fit perfectly. You can choose from sizes like FS C01 (550×700), FS C04 (550×980), FS C06 (550×1180), FS C08 (550×1400), or the newest size, FS C12 (550×1800).
These skylights are also available in wider versions, either 780mm or 1140mm. It’s a good idea to talk about what skylight you want before building your roof trusses. But, if you have an older roof, it can often be changed to accommodate these skylights.
